Vintage VEC501N Electro Acoustic Guitar, Natural, USB

Description

The single cutaway Vintage VEC501 Electro-Acoustic Dreadnought guitar is another example of the Vintage design team’s relentless quest for innovation, authentic tone and outstanding playability. They are all well aware that there’s a lot more to a dreadnought acoustic guitar than just sounding big, there’s also an air of projection volume and authority.

Crafted with a satin-finished mahogany back and sides and solid sitka soundboard, the output is indeed big, but has all the sonic merits that add up to an outstanding big bodied acoustic guitar. From soft arpeggio to vibrant percussive strumming, the VEC501 retains detailed, touch-sensitive harmonics and dynamics, with impressive volume and projection.

Features that make the Vintage VEC501 a best seller include a mahogany headstock bedecked with smooth-geared closed back, chrome tuners and an Eastern Mahogany neck and profile that’s a pleasure to play. Fret dressings are a Vintage speciality and combined with a silky smooth, bound fingerboard, offer excellent action and playability.

Electro-acoustic players are also in for a real treat, as this superb acoustic folk guitar features the same Vintage preamp that’s highly respected in the world of electro acoustic guitars. Controls include volume, bass, middle and treble to enhance the natural timbres without colouring the sound. This unobtrusive preamp also features a phase switch, tuner display and low battery indicator.

Stylish touches continue with maple body binding, herringbone/abalone soundhole rosette design, inlaid Vintage ‘V’ motif at the 12th fret, Graphtech NuBone saddle and transparent pickguard.
