Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass 24 – Rare Amber Quilt Top – Korea – Seymour Duncans
The “Modern Classic” Jazz Bass
Up for grabs is a stunning 2005 Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass 24 in a vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish. This isn’t your average off-the-shelf Jazz Bass; this was a short-run, premium Korean export designed to compete with high-end boutique brands.
If you’re looking for that classic Fender vibe but need the extended range of 24 frets and the punch of an active preamp, this is the unicorn you’ve been looking for.
The Hardware & Tone
• The Look: A high-grade Quilted Maple top that pops under stage lights. No pickguard to hide the wood grain—just pure aesthetic.
• The Electronics: Factory-loaded with Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups. These are dead quiet and high-output.
• The Preamp: Includes a 4 band active EQ and an active/passive switch (mini-toggle).
• The Build: 34” scale Maple neck with a fast Rosewood board. High-mass bridge for better sustain than the stamped-metal vintage style.
Condition & Value
This bass (S/N 05049413) is in fantastic shape. The Korean-made Deluxe series is famous among bassists for having build quality that often puts contemporary Fender lines to shame. It’s solid, stays in tune thanks to the Hipshot-licensed tuners, and looks like a million bucks.
